Tennille graduated from Macquarie University with Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. Having completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2012, Tennille then obtained her Masters of Laws majoring in Family Law in 2016.
Tennille joined Taperell Rutledge in 2016 and on 1 July 2019 was appointed an associate of the firm. Tennille brings to the firm her enthusiasm and passion for providing practical advice designed to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients and their families.
Tennille is experienced in all areas of Family Law, with a focus on parenting and children’s matters.
Having worked primarily in the area of Family Law since 2012, Tennille works hard to provide her clients with clear advice, guidance and support through all stages of their matter to assist them to make informed decisions.
Tennille adopts a common-sense approach to help her clients reach negotiated outcomes and she is able to facilitate a wide range of alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation. However, should the need for litigation arise, Tennille has extensive experience in appearing in both the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court in property and parenting matters.
Tennille’s practice also includes Civil Litigation, with matters before the Local and District Courts.
Tennille is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the NSW and Central Coast Law Societies and Young Lawyers of NSW. She is also the Regional Delegate for NSW Young Lawyers, sitting as Chair of the Central Coast Young Lawyers Committee and is a member of the Central Coast Law Society Committee.
